Planets
Illuminated orbs representing the four interior planets orbiting the sun.
These five custom polycarbonate spheres were made in close collaboration with a Disney creative team. The designs, colors and finishes are all made to meet their specific needs for the sculpture. The globes are lit from the inside creating two different effects. Createx airbrush paints and top coats achieved a durable translucent high gloss finish. The globes are affixed to their steel rings with hidden fasteners.
